Birdie’s Spring Time! Free Blogger Template

EN - Yes! Finally! A new Blogger template!! I have so many waiting to be finished in my computer, that today I felt bad and decided to finish at least one. I hope you guys like it!! The layout is really simple, all white with some Spring details! Enjoy!

ES - Siiii! Por fin un template nuevo de Blogger!! Tengo tantos sin terminar en mi computadora que hoy me sentí mal y decidí completar alguno… Espero que les guste!! El layout es muy simple, todo blanco con algunos detalles primaverales! Que lo disfruten!!

IMPORTANT: If you want to try UPDATING your blog’s template, first make SURE you backup your current template (you should always do this when planning to change to a new template). IMPORTANTE: Si quieren intentar ACTUALIZAR el template de su blog, primer ASEGÚRENSE de hacer backup de la plantilla actual que tengan (siempre deberían hacer esto cuando quieren hacer un cambio de plantilla). Y ¿cómo hacer esto? Fíjense en la imagen de arriba (si bien está en inglés, los links están ubicados igual). De esta manera, si algo sale mal, siempre pueden volver a su antiguo template!!

Unzip the file you downloaded / Descomprime el archivo .zip
Log in to Blogger dashboard / Logueate en tu Panel de Blogger
Go to your blog’s Layout –> Edit HTML / Ir a Plantilla -> Edición de HTML
Click the button “Browse” / Clickea en el botón “Examinar”
Browse the XML file you have saved and upload it / Busca en tu computadora el archivo XML que acabas de descomprimir y clickea “Subir”
You are done! / Listo!

I try to use this template but I can´t add anithing to the side bar.The usual options ( text, photos, etc) don´t appear. Can you help me?

Are you using Google Chrome? If so, it’s a blogger bug, with modified templates, that doesn’t show always well the Page elements tab. You should try to edit the sidebar using FIREFOX or even IE

it only shows “about me”
when i’m trying to add another gadget they don’t appear

after clearing my cookies and refresh few times,
i finaly succed,,the side bar shows the gadgets

I LOVE this template! Thank you so much. I have only every had a basic template from blogger before so I am so excited to be able to use yours. I have never used HTML before, but I played around a little bit to make the template a little wider. For some reason the little flower at the end of my posts does not show up every time – sometimes it is there, sometimes it is partially there and sometimes it isn’t there at all. I don’t think it is something I’ve done becauase it was the same way when I used your template “as is”. I also don’t know how to get the labels not to show up on the bottom of the post. I unchecked it in blogger, but they are still there.

I’m going to subscribe to your blog so I can keep up with all your creations. I just love your work! Thank you SO much for sharing!

There’s a big download button in the post. From there you download a .zip file. That’s the file you have to extract
