Sorry the lack of updates lately, but I have like no free time. Too many things to be paid, with the moving and all, so I am running all day with things to do, and things delayed like crazy. I honestly can’t wait to have some holiday break! Big hugs everybody!!

EN - Yes!! Birdie’s Secret Garden and News from the Sky have been now updated!! Missing images have been relocated, titles fixed, and now Secret Garden has wider sidebars (I know many had asked for this)!! Also you will find 125×125 px .psd files to make your own banner!!

If you plan to update your template to the newer version, don’t forget to read carefully the info on widget backuping right there on the beginning of each post!!

Las imágenes que desaparecían han sido movidas, los títulos ajustados, y ahora Secret Garden tiene barras laterales más amplias (se que muchos habían pedido esto)!! Además encontrarán archivos .psd de 125×125 px para hacer su propio banner!!

Si planean actualizar su plantilla a la versión más nueva, no dejen de leer cuidadosamente las instrucciones de cómo backupear el contenido de los widgets (por ahora en inglés) que se indica al comienzo de ambos posts!!

EN - Ey you guys!! Birdie Says: Meet the Chef is now available to download!! Hope you all like it (and let me know if you use it)!! A few pointers about it:

• If you want to relist it, read here.
• 960px wide
• 3 columns
• Includes a .psd file to make you own 125 x 125 px banner
• Page Elements might not work if you are using Google Chrome (but will in Firefox & IE). This is a bug I haven’t found a solution for yet.
• BACKUP YOUR WIDGET CONTENT (and the template as explained below), because it will clear your widgets when you install it (if you want to avoid this, you can follow this guidelines at Blogger Buster).

• Si quieren relistarlo, lean aquí.
• 960px de ancho
• 3 columnas
• Incluye un archivo .psd para que armen su propio banner de 125 x 125 px
• Los Elementos de Página puede que no funcionen en Google Chrome (pero andan en Firefox & IE). Este es un bug al que no encuentro solución aún.
• GUARDEN UNA COPIA DEL CONTENIDO DE SUS WIDGETS (y del template como se explica abajo), porque al instalarlo borrará sus widgets (si quieren evitar esto pueden seguir este tutorial de Blogger Buster).

1. Unzip the file you downloaded / Descomprime el archivo .zip
2. Log in to Blogger dashboard / Logueate en tu Panel de Blogger
3. Go to your blog’s Layout –> Edit HTML / Ir a Plantilla -> Edición de HTML
4. Click the button “Browse” / Clickea en el botón “Examinar”
5. Browse the XML file you have saved and upload it / Busca en tu computadora el archivo XML que acabas de descomprimir y clickea “Subir”
6. You are done! / Listo!

EN - This is a quick post to thank the first 3 donators to the Birdie Says free templates: Eli, Beatrice & Dawn. Thanks so so much to them! You have no idea how much it means to me you guys want to help out. Lately I have really little free time for the templates, specially because this year I have so many students that correcting papers consumes most of my free time But well, in the spirit of the donations, I want to announce the soon release of 2 new themes: Birdie’s Photo Album & Meet the Chef Birdie’s Photo Album might come in 2 dif options (headers preview below). Edit: You do not need now to upgrade your template, since I upgraded the account. However, donations are still welcomed to help me keep the account upgraded!

EN – Just to tell you guys I am aware of this problem. So far Birdie’s Sweet Blog, Welcome Autumn & Birdie’s Good Life have been relocated (you have to download them again and reinstall them). However, to avoid this from happening again I should update the account to pro, so if any of you guys feels like helping out with that I am accepting donations via Paypal. If everyone donates a few dollars I can gather enough money to pay the pro account and make sure this does not happen again.

ES – Sólo para que sepan que estoy al tanto de este problema. Por el momento Birdie’s Sweet Blog, Welcome Autumn & Birdie’s Good Life fueron arreglados (deben descargar los templates nuevamente). De cualquier manera, para evitar que esto vuelva a pasar debería pasarme a una cuenta pro, así que si alguien quiere contribuir estoy aceptando donaciones via Paypal. Si todos donan algunos dólares puedo reunir el dinero para comprar el upgrade y evitar que esto vuelva a suceder.

EN – Last but not least, I updated the Birdie’s Good Life template, for all those of you that commented the header wasn’t centering well on IE. Please try the new version here.
