EN - Ey everyone!! For the first time in this section I am showcasing a photographer. His work was just too good!!! And for the first time too, I am quoting Ole on this description:

“Gregory Crewdson, is an american photographer born in 1962 in Brooklyn, New York City; whose background include a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale University. Crewdson’s work with small town american scenery gives a sort of David Lynch like mysterious feel and atmosphere and his excellent work with artificial lightning and mix of color temperature results in a Hollywood cinematographic look.

Crewdson is currently a professor at Yale University and his works can be seen in museums in USA and Europe.”

Personally, I think Crewson’s photos are amazing. They look like illustrated movie scenes, you know, like those used to promote old films

EN – It’s that time again when I present you one of my favorite artists. And this time it’s once more an argentinian illustrator!! Her name is Eugenia Nobati, and her work is just so incredible that I had to showcase it!!

By now you must have realized I have a thing for children illustration, hehehe…. What can I say, I love how they combine cuteness with fantasy, creating the most wonderful and magical images… And Eugenia’s work in this case, is simply incredible… The texture and the colors, the gorgeous characters, everything is just perfect!! The books she illustrates are a wonderful gift for the kids you love!! I just wish she’d sell prints somewhere to have her on my walls!!

ES - Es de nuevo ese momento en el que les presento a uno de mis artistas favoritos. Y esta vez es nuevamente un ilustrador de Argentina (una ilustradora en realidad)!! Su nombre es Eugenia Nobati, y su trabajo es simplemente tan increíble que tenía que mostrárselos!!

Para ahora ya deben haberse dado cuenta que tengo algo especial por las ilustraciones infantiles, jejeje… ¿Qué puedo decir? me encanta cómo combinan cosas lindas con fantasía, creando las más maravillosas y mágicas imágenes… Y el trabajo de Eugenia, en este caso, es simplemente increíble… La textura, los colores, los increíbles personajes, todo es simplemente perfecto!! Los libros que ella ilustra son realmente un regalo muy especial para los niños que uno ama!! Sólo desearía que ella vendiese reproducciones en algún lugar para tenerla en mis paredes!!

EN – Ey everyone!! Let me introduce you today another of my favorite illustrators: Paolo Domeniconi. Paolo is an italian illustrator with a wonderful and rich style. His fairytale animals and sceneries are so fill of colors and texture, that you could swear magic does really exist, and those characters are truly around, walking in those fantastic places.

Some of my favorite images from his gallery are those where animals are the main characters. He seems to have a touch to give them a lot of personality, like his Cat in Paris / Cat at the Barber images (know how much I love cats).

Paolo has a deviantArt gallery where he also sells prints, and a personal website, where you can get to see more of his work. He also keeps a blog in italian.

This one is also available as print (and I want it!!)

ES – ¡¡Hola a todos!! Dejenme presentarles hoy otro de mis ilustradores favoritos: Paolo Domeniconi. Paolo es un ilustrador italiano con un estilo maravilloso y muy completo. Sus animales de cuentos de hadas y sus escenarios están tan llenos de color y textura, que podrías jurar que la magiua realmente existe, y que esos personajes están realmente por ahí, paseándose por esos sitios fantásticos.

Algunas de mis imágenes favoritas de su galería son aquellas en las que los animales son los protagonistas. Paolo parece tener un toque especial, que los dota de increíbles personalidades, como sus imágenes de Gato en París / Gato en la Barbería (ustedes saben lo mucho que adoro a los gatos).

Paolo tiene una galería en deviantArt donde también vende reproducciones, y un sitio web, donde se puede ver más de su trabajo. También tiene un blog en italiano.

EN - It’s my favorite time again! And this time the illustrator I decided to showcase for you is another awesome argentinian artist that you maybe know!!!

Pablo Bernasconi has to be one of the most creative illustrators I have ever seen. His technique is so funky and unique that you can see his works published all around the globe!! He’s for sure a master of the digital collage, and what amazes me really the most, is not just the end result of his illustrations, but the eye he has to bring to life unique characters and sceneries from other dead materials like wood, metal and stone!! I can swear that I could see the original stock he creates his illustrations from and I would not be able to imagine what could be born from it, like he does!!! A true illustration genius!!!

ES - Es de nuevo mi momento favorito!! Y esta vez el ilustrador que decidí mostrar es otro increíble artista argentino que quizá conozcan!!!

Pablo Bernasconi debe ser uno de los ilustradores más creativos que conozco. Su técnica es tan divertida y original que pueden ver sus trabajos publicados en todo el mundo!! Por lo pronto, es un genio del collage digital, y lo que más me impresiona, me cautiva, no es sólo el resultado final de sus ilustraciones, sino el ojo que tiene para dar vida a increíbles personajes y escenarios de los materiales más inertes como madera, piedra y metal!! Podría jurar que de ver las imágenes originales con las que trabaja sus collages no se se me ocurriría ni la décima parte de las posibilidades que él ve nacer de esos elementos!!! Un verdadero genio de la ilustración!!

EN – Oh yes! It’s time again to present you one of my favorite artists This time, it is Miss Tascha Parkinson

Tascha is a canadian artist with a beautiful, sensorial and unique style. The people and animals she portrays in her paintings are simply a delight!!! I specially love how many cats I see everywhere!!! The texture she gives to her artwork is also for me a plus, it adds a lot of life to everything she creates, and she does create a lot!!!I am amazed everytime i visit her etsy shop (and even more when you visit her Flickr ) by the ammount of possibilities in there if you are looking to give a great gift like art I even bought my mum one of her paintings, and it was such a winner!!!

ES – Sí sí!! Oh yes! Es otra vez ese momento en el que les presento alguno de mis artistas favoritos Y esta vez, se trata de la Señorita Tascha Parkinson

Tascha es una artista canadiense con un estilo único, muy bello y sensorial. Las personas y animales que retrata en sus pinturas son simplemente increíbles… y a mi personalmente me enamora con la cantidad de gatos que veo en sus creaciones!! Además, la textura de sus pinturas son al menos para mí un punto extra, creo que le da muchísima vida a todo lo que ella crea, y creanme, crea muchísimo!! Me impresiona cada vez que entro a su tiendita de etsy (y ni decir si dan una visita a su Flickr) la cantidad de posibilidades que hay si uno está buscando regalar un bello regalo artístico Incluso yo le compré a mi mamá una de sus reproducciones, y fue un éxito!!! (es la primer imagen del post)

EN - Ey guys! Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite illustrators ever!! His name is Poly Bernatene, and he is from Argentina, just like me. His work is so amazing that he has been published in books and magazines from my country and many others, like México, Spain, England, and so on!!

Poly has a truly unique style, not just for the character design but for the tecnique he uses to color/texture his images, I just love it all, and have bought some of his books to my goddaughter!! But please do not just take my word for it, take a look a few samples of his works, I’ll show ahead, and please, don’t hesitate to visit his website and blog.

She’s a wonderful illustrator from New York, and has been among my favorite “artists that blog” list for quiiiite a while Her style as you can see in the following images is truly unique!! I love it so much. Her images are ALWAYS fun and colorful, and I love the books she has published!! They are the perfect gift for chidren (I believe books are the best gift for kids)!!

Ella es una increíble ilustradora de nueva York, que ha estado por bastante tiempo en mi lista de favoritos “artistas que bloguean” Su estilo es más que único, como pueden ver en las imágenes a continuación!! Me encanta realmente!! Sus imágenes son siempre coloridas y muy divertidas, y los libros que ha publicado son una maravillla!!! Creo que el regalo perfecto para cualquier niño (lástima que están sólo en inglés)!!

EN – Oh my! I was today browsing my feeds when I found a couple of new posts by kelmurphy. And oh my god, my jaw dropped when I saw one of her last works, which made me realize I HAVE to start a new section in the blog, to introduce my favorite artists to all of you.

So well, my first pick is Kelly Murphy, an amazing illustrator from Boston, USA, whose work I definitely love!! Here you can see some images I selected, but please, to get the full idea, don’t hesitate visiting her blog or her website!!
